Aeroflot finishes placing new shares, raises 80 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Oct 26 (PRIME) -- Russia’s national flagship air carrier Aeroflot has placed 1.3 billion shares to raise 80 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Monday.
“Aeroflot… informs that the process of increasing the charter capital by placing new common shares is finished… Following the period of payment under the pre-emptive right and the public offering, a notification on the results of the issue was sent to the central bank,” the company said.
“As a result of the offering, including offering to institutional investors by building a bidding book, the company has raised 80 billion rubles to increase the liquidity,” the company said.
Following the placement, the government’s stake in Aeroflot amounted to 57.34% and the free float to 40.65%. The quasi-treasury stake is at 1.96%, and the management controls 0.05%.
The charter capital grew to 2.445 billion from 1.111 billion shares.
